Collection: Succulent Lamb Potjie

Ingredients:
1.5kg lamb knuckles / stewing lamb
1 large (160g) onion, roughly chopped
4 (16g) garlic cloves, finely chopped
500g baby potatoes / 4 large potatoes cut into chunks
4 large (500g) carrots, peeled and chopped
200g baby marrows, roughly chopped
200g mushrooms, sliced
1 tbsp (9g) flour
25g Bisto gravy for lamb roast
200ml beef stock
250ml red wine (optional)
4 tbsp (60ml) canola oil
1 tbsp (15g) Rhodes Quality tomato paste
3 tbsp (45ml) BBQ sauce
2 tbsp (56g) Hinds Spices Southern Grill All in One seasoning
2 tbsp (7g) Hinds Spices paprika
1 tbsp (15g) garlic powder / salt
2 tbsp (28g) lamb rub
2 sprigs (1g) fresh rosemary
20g fresh coriander, roughly chopped
1 tsp (7g) salt and
1 tsp (2g) black pepper, to taste
Notes:
• You can add in any vegetables you prefer
• Cooking times may vary based on the size of the potjie pot and how hot the coal is
• Add more water if needed (but a small amount at a time)
• Wine is optional, it will still taste good with or without it
• Make sure you stir occasionally to avoid burning the button of the lamb potjie
