I feel like this is the perfect winter dessert. This pudding brings back my childhood holidays visiting my Noorjan maasi in Pietermaritzburg. This pudding was a staple for dessert and rightly devoured by all of us.
Ingredients:
2 slices bread 2 cups (500ml) milk 2 eggs 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract 1 tin (385g) condensed milk 1 - 1¼ cups (100g - 125g) desiccated coconut (not more than 1½ cups)
To decorate: 1 large (290g) tin dessert cream 2 tbsp (24g) sugar 32g Flake
